About this place

Lengshuikeng Hot Springs & Jingshan Suspension Bridge, Shilin District, Taipei City, Taiwan. Tucked in the picturesque saddle below Mount Qixing, Lengshuikeng ("Cold Water Pit") takes its name from spring waters emerging at a pleasant 40°C, cooler than surrounding geothermal springs. The area features Taiwan's only natural milk-white sulfuric spring pools and complimentary public foot baths. Scenic walking trails lead across the picturesque wooden Jingshan Suspension Bridge toward misty Menghuan Pond. After therapeutic walks through mountain fog, hikers savor sweet ginger sweet potato soup and stir-fried wild vegetables.
